Every 02 May, Indonesia always celebrate National Education Day.
What is National Education Day?
The story is begin from a hero. His name is Ki Hajar Dewantara. He was born on 02 May 1889. He is father of education in Indonesia. Because that, 02 May being special day in Indonesia. So many story about him, but sorry I will not share in here. Maybe you can search his biography by here.
We're Indonesian, celebrate that special day with a ceremony in the morning. School and University often to do that. It is just a honor to our heros and about education.
Are education in here is good? or maybe better than other country?
Well a good question. In my opinion, NO IT'S NOT. Sorry I say that. I think I say it honestly. So many children can't go to school because they're less fortunate. They should working a whole day just to eat, eat and eat. How can they're go to school, they're still starving?!. If you see and listen this fact, are you still say "OMG, you're pitty" or maybe "How poor you are"?. Are you still say that?, tell me!.
In other hand, they are who can school still lazy go to school. So lazy to study and so lazy to do things about school. Are they not thinking so many children in the outside should working a whole day, should leave hers/his time to playing just because those children less fortunate to school?.
And those student who fortunate, who can go to school still do haram things. When exam they're cheat. Cheat from hers/his friends, from books, from internet and many mooore. So many hers/his way to do that, to do haram things. So where is the point of education in this country?!
Are you still waste your time?. Forget that. Go study. Indonesia and world need us. Need us to be better. Need us to do something who can save our world, save our world by education, religion and discipline.
So once more, HAPPY NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY!
Wish education in Indonesia more more & more better than before and better than others.
